Taco Bell to Hire 5,000 in a Day!

Taco Bell is hosting massive Hiring Parties on April 21st across the country in a gigantic recruitment push. The goal of the one-day employment drive by the food and beverages giant is to hire at least 5,000 people through the Hiring Parties.

"It's no secret that the labor market is tight, which is why we are thrilled to host our fourth round of Hiring Parties in partnership with our franchisees," said Kelly McCulloch, Taco Bell's Chief People Officer. "This initiative continues to be successful for us year after year, and we welcome candidates to join in to learn more about what makes Taco Bell a great place to work. We're eager to welcome prospective new hires into the family and show them why working at Taco Bell can be more than just a job."

Taco Bell's Hiring Parties have been widely successful, but this year they will be held outdoors. This year, the aspirants can expect drive-up interviews too (where they can give interviews without leaving their car!). All the participants will be asked to stand six feet apart, and masks have been made mandatory.

The food chain is looking ahead to more restaurant re-openings, remodels, and new builds in 2021. The Hiring Parties will help the company hire workers for these. The roles will include positions at all levels, from Food Champion to General Manager, and also bellhops to support drive-thru service with tablet ordering.
