Induction Healthcare Acquires Attend Anywhere to Increase Flexible Care Options for Healthcare Providers

Induction Healthcare, a leading virtual care platform for healthcare systems across the world, has completed the acquisition of Attend Anywhere Pty Ltd, an Australian-based award-winning video consultation system purpose-built for healthcare. It has been used by 90 percent of NHS Trusts throughout the UK.

This acquisition will create a well-resourced, UK-listed technology provider that predominantly focuses on enabling healthcare systems to deliver more flexible care options for patients and staff. This particular transaction provides services across the UK and Australia, which already use both companies' technologies, with the immediate benefit of improved support, dedicated to integration projects, product implementation, and partnerships. Attend Anywhere's solution complements Induction Healthcare's novel product suite.

Induction Healthcare's product called Induction Switch is an app-based solution used by over 210,000 doctors and healthcare providers across the UK and Australia to streamline communication with colleagues. Another product named Induction Guidance lets staff at over 126 hospitals in the UK, Mexico, and New Zealand access controlled treatment information and pivotal guidelines irrespective of their location. Induction Zesty, a portal used by 280,000 patients to access their appointments, read their clinical letters and store a copy of their clinical record to provide data remotely.

Apple Launches MagSafe Battery to Offer Wireless Charging for iPhone 12 Series

Tech giant Apple has launched the MagSafe Battery Pack for the iPhone 12 series, which will offer wireless charging on the latest iPhone models. The new offering has been unveiled eight months after the debut of the iPhone 12 series. As the name says, Apple MagSafe Battery Pack can attach to the back of the iPhone magnetically to provide an additional battery life. The company has stated that the battery pack is compatible with all the iPhone 12 models.

Apple has been working on the new MagSafe Battery Pack for some time. This new battery pack carries magnets aligned to fit with iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, which will offer wireless charging while on the go. It starts charging the iPhone once attached and does not require users to press a button to turn the charger. Users can plug a Lightning cable into the MagSafe Battery Pack to charge the pack.

The Battery Pack will show an amber status light when it is charging. Apple has not disclosed details on how much additional battery life you would get from the MagSafe Battery Pack. The all-new Apple MagSafe Battery Pack is available for $99. It is currently available for orders in the US, and the delivery will be starting from July 19. It will be available in other countries very soon.


 

 

Salesforce to Launch Brand New Marketing Cloud Platform for Nonprofits

Salesforce, in a recent press meet, has announced the launch of Marketing Cloud for Nonprofits. It is a marketing technology platform primarily designed to help nonprofits of all sizes provide better digital experiences. Salesforce Marketing Cloud for Nonprofits comes equipped with robust native integration with Salesforce.org's Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)—which converts the Salesforce CRM into an open-source solution for nonprofits.

This new cloud-based platform enables users to segment constituents, develop personalized content for their audience, and more. With the help of the Nonprofit Marketing Cloud, nonprofit companies will have access to out-of-the-box templates, which they can use to create and deliver innovative email campaigns for subscribers, donors, sustainers, volunteers, and other audiences. Nonprofits can have an easy on-ramp to a superior constituent experience with more personalized engagement methods with this platform.

Netflix might soon enter the video games segment and deliver its services at no extra cost

Video streaming giant Netflix is gearing up to foray into the gaming segment.  The streaming platform has also recently hired the services of former Facebook and EA executive Mike Verdu as VP for its Game Development effort. As of now, Netflix offers TV shows and movies on its streaming platform, and in recent times it has been hinting at entering the gaming market. In two separate announcements, Netflix had stated it would be launching Kids Recap Email and Top 10 row for Kids to make its services more kids-friendly.

According to the recent reports from Bloomberg, Netflix might enter the gaming segment by the end of next year. It is speculated that the games might be offered for no extra cost initially, and this will help the company establish its presence in a more saturated market like the US. Netflix’s first major announcement regarding its entry into gaming came at E3 2019, when a game based on Stranger Things was revealed. Back in May, the company was on the lookout for new key executives to help the company in game development, and so far, Netflix has experimented with TV Shows and movies like Carmen Sandiego, Bandersnatch, and Black Mirror, among others.
