84% of Woman gamers in South India feel that gaming can be pursued as a career

Popular tech giant HP has recently conducted a study and has discovered that 99 percent of people living in Hyderabad are certain that gaming relieves stress. Furthermore, the study showed that more than 90 percent of people believe that gaming can be a good career option. Along with the facts mentioned above, it was discovered that more than 48 percent of the respondents are willing to spend up to Rs 1 lakh on gaming rigs and PC. The study conducted by HP revealed certain new trends like growing preference in gaming among women, and they are also keen on taking it up as a career option.

Almost 84 percent of the women respondents have stated that they have the desire to pursue gaming as a career. A recent HP study shows that 94 percent of the respondents feel that gaming induces positive feelings and reduces stress significantly. Women are ahead of men in this sudden shift of perception, and they feel that gaming can improve cognitive skills, improve cognitive skills, and relieve stress. Ninety-four percent of women respondents have stated that gaming is the best source of recreation and relaxation when compared to 92 percent of men. The survey was conducted in the South Indian cities of Chennai, Hyderabad, and Coimbatore, and it shows that people agree that gaming is beneficial.

Netflix might soon enter the video games segment and deliver its services at no extra cost

Video streaming giant Netflix is gearing up to foray into the gaming segment.  The streaming platform has also recently hired the services of former Facebook and EA executive Mike Verdu as VP for its Game Development effort. As of now, Netflix offers TV shows and movies on its streaming platform, and in recent times it has been hinting at entering the gaming market. In two separate announcements, Netflix had stated it would be launching Kids Recap Email and Top 10 row for Kids to make its services more kids-friendly.

According to the recent reports from Bloomberg, Netflix might enter the gaming segment by the end of next year. It is speculated that the games might be offered for no extra cost initially, and this will help the company establish its presence in a more saturated market like the US. Netflix’s first major announcement regarding its entry into gaming came at E3 2019, when a game based on Stranger Things was revealed. Back in May, the company was on the lookout for new key executives to help the company in game development, and so far, Netflix has experimented with TV Shows and movies like Carmen Sandiego, Bandersnatch, and Black Mirror, among others.

PlayStation Plus Subscribers will now Get 24 Free Games

PlayStation Plus, an online subscription started by Sony is allowing the players to access the online gaming world and is also offering them a huge variety of games to play at no additional cost. The main concept of the PlayStation Plus subscription is to provide the players with different variants of games consistently. Thus each month, around three new games will be released for the PS Plus subscribers.

The makers have recently released a total of 24 new games for all the players with a PlayStation Plus subscription. These games will improve Sony’s game playlist and collection mostly includes the new PS5 games and cannot be accessed by PS4 users. Seeing this Sony wanted its players to upgrade to their next-generation console, PS5. Therefore it has made PS Plus free games for players for July 2021.

Currently, Sony is working tofulfill the demand for their next-generation consoles. Because of the shortage of theconsoles due to pandemic, Xbox Series X and S sales had gone up initially but soon those consoles also went out of stock. It is reported that Sony will release another set of PS5 pre-registration on July 12. Players can keep an eye on these updates on the PS5 restock by following Sony’s social media handles.

Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming service will now be available across 22 countries

It was always the dream of people to play games without the hassle of owning an expensive PC or console. This is no more a dream, thanks to the emergence of cloud gaming. Tech giant Microsoft recently made an announcement that it will be bringing its cloud gaming service to Apple mobile devices and Windows 10 PC. The service will be available in more than 20 countries, and users from that region can enjoy any game from their desired location. The main idea behind the service offered by Microsoft is somewhat similar to the video streaming services like Hulu or Netflix except for the fact that users are now playing games instead of watching shows or movies.

 Another interesting part of the Xbox Cloud Gaming service is that you will be playing on established networks that will already have your save files allowing you to continue playing on any device. Xbox Cloud Gaming was established to empower the user to have access to any files irrespective of devices. Data centers of Microsoft were also upgraded recently to allow users to stream games at 1080p resolution. The services offered by Microsoft is quite remarkable, and it is one the most important milestone for the cloud gaming community.

Microsoft Reveals New Xbox Wireless Controllers, Space Jam 2

Microsoft has unleashed its most anticipated Xbox wireless controller—'Space Jam 2: A New Legacy', and it will be available by July. Space Jam 2 is a limited-edition set of Xbox Wireless Controllers primarily based on the Looney Tunes film, which will be available before the film's premiere. According to Xbox, the all-new wireless controller will support iOS devices that will be introduced in the future.

The controller is powered by four AA batteries which last for up to 40 hours. Space Jam: A New Legacy will also be available for early access for players who have a Game Pass, according to Xbox. A New Legacy of Space Jam will be available in three types of Xbox Wireless Controllers: Tune Squad, Server-verse, and Goon Squad. The company has stated that by July 8, all three versions will be available for $69.99 each.

Customized controllers also cost $69.99, which is $10 more than the standard controllers.  The orders will be sent 28 days after they are placed. And the service for the new Space Jam 2 is currently available in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The controller also works with Windows 10 PCs and iOS and Android devices.

Most anticipated video game Battlefield 2042 to be launched on October 22

Electronic Arts, creator of the most popular team-based military-themed video games in a recent press meet, has unveiled the first look of Battlefield 2042 and announced that the game would be launching on October 22 on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and the Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. The gaming firm also stated that the game is going to feel a lot bigger with latest graphics, new places, best sound quality, and other additional designs.

It is reported that the video game takes place in the not-too-distant future, where there is a massive shortage of food, water, and energy has fueled an unprecedented refugee crisis. The players are dropped in the middle of a war. The one who survives these adverse conditions will emerge as the winner.

Battlefield 2042 is an evolution of the franchise, and it always designs what its players want – the ultimate Battlefield multiplayer sandbox along with intense combat and a ton of incredible, unexpected events.
