Just Dial’s transformation will help Reliance Retail to scale unprecedently

Recently, Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL) had made an announcement that it acquired controlling stakes in Just Dial (JD). According to reports from industry analysts, the retail giant is expected to make full use of JD’s B2B search engine specialization to gain access to various large merchants who can join the company’s ecommerce platform JioMart. The new move is also expected to allow RRVL to make use of JD’s venture into ticket booking for train, bus, and flight. Along with that, users can also pay bills, book hotels, and get cab services, among others.

Mukesh Ambani, managing director and chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), had previously laid out a target to onboard more than 10 million merchants for his company’s ecommerce initiative. The target is expected to be achieved by the next three years, and this announcement came in RIL’s annual AGM, which was held last month. RRVL had bought 66.95 percent of stakes in JD, and the entire deal amounted to Rs 5,720 crore. So far, JD has continued to work in the marketplace model, and it has offered various services like logistics, chat, catalog management, and payment solutions. Along with that, JD also provided working capital loans and insurance to SMEs.

Simplilearn Joins Forces with Jagran Lakecity University to Train students in Digital Marketing

Simplilearn, which is among the world's leading online bootcamp for digital economy skills training in a recent press meet, has announced that it is partnering with Jagran Lakecity University to offer a Post Graduate Program in Digital Marketing for the students who have already enrolled in the MA Digital Marketing program at Jagran Lakecity University. This PG program offered by Simplilearn will be in partnership with Purdue University and co-created with Facebook.

The MA in Digital Marketing program is a comprehensive industry integrated Postgraduate program that will enable students to get exposure in a digital marketing environment from a consumer and business perspective. The two-year program provides an overview of various online business models and social media marketing techniques and strategies. It will also include a mixture of case studies, guest speakers, and assignments with real advertising data.

The programs also will offer students online sessions with subject matter experts and industry-certified Capstone project leaders. Upon completing the program, the students will receive a joint Post Graduate certification from Simplilearn and Jagran Lakecity University, along with the Purdue University's Alumni Association membership.

Digital marketing is now streamlined by Evocalize

A collaborative marketing platform provider (CMP), Evocalize rolled out a blueprint within CMP platform concentrating on Agent Recruiting. The new feature is being used by Exit Reality which has the capacity to enable 550 local brokers and around 20,000 agents to operate digital marketing programs automatically on Google Display Network (GDN).

“Giving our agents the ability to quickly and easily build and activate agent recruiting-focused ads in Google will be critical in helping them to find the best talent in their markets, and ultimately build their business and market share,” said Samantha Morris, vice president of marketing, Exit Realty.

Blueprints have everything required by modern firms’ right from real estate, mortgage, wealth management, and insurance. Exit Reality has an association with Evocalize since 2019, and is leveraging a unique gallery of Blueprints within its collaborative marketing platform.

“This new Agent Recruiting Blueprint makes it easy and affordable for our agents and brokers to customize and activate digital ads. For as little as a few hundred dollars a month, we’ve had agents be able to recruit several employees a month, which is exponentially better than our previous recruiting methods,” said Morris.
