Mesa Air in Partnership with Flirtey Launches First-Ever Drone Delivery Business in the Us

Mesa Air in a recent announcement has stated that it is partnering with Flirteyto primarily focus on the last-mile food delivery industry. Also, Mesa is planning to predominantly expand its services beyond the global airlines and food service market. The instant goal of this partnership is to conduct commercial drone deliveries, especially in the last-mile food and beverage market in the US. Both the companies are planning to expand the drone delivery service in countries like the US and New Zealand.

Flirtey, leader in designing and manufacturing aircraftwill provide Mesa withitscutting-edge technology including the Flirtey Eagle, which is an electric powered, advanced drone that will help in precision-based delivery to homes and businesses, and itsnext-generation autonomous software platform will help aircrafts to conduct autonomous flight operations, and will help Mesa to operate commercial drone delivery.

The partnership will mainly focus on operational excellence and data collection, which will enable the rapid expansion with Mesa’s leading regional air carrier with over 450 daily departures across the US. Till date Flirtey has conducted technical experiments on 6,000 drone delivery flights in the US and has recently expanded its delivery drone production to meet growing needs.
